THERMOSIPHON
The thermosiphon system is the simplest system of obtaining hot water from sollar energy. It consists in a plane collector to which is coupled a deposit with a variable capacity.
These systems are the most used in small dimension works.
Working description
When the sun falls upon the solar collector it transmits the heat to the water through the thermic fluid. When it heats, the water diminishes its density, which makes it lighter. This way, the water that is in the feeding column between the reservoir and the collector, heavier, pushes the hot water inside the collector.
